And I Didn't Think It Could Get Any Better

So, as you all know (if you read my blog) my sister-in-law won tickets to the Katy Perry concert and we are going tomorrow. And I'm so excited. Well she was also entered in the grand prize to have a meet-and-greet with Katy Perry. Beccie is the luckiest person i know. Because guess who is going to the meet-in-greet? Yes, thats right, me and beccie!! I am so excited. I'm just waiting to be told that this has all been a joke or something because its all too unreal. I think I am the only one really excited though. But i don't care, i love it!!

Katy Perry concert HERE I COME!!!!

So as you know, I have been trying to get a hold of Katy Perry tickets for the past few days. Well my radio station finally started a contest that if you are caller number ten, you win tickets to the concert and you are qualified to have a meet-and-greet with Katy Perry. So i got so excited that i woke up at 7am just to listen to the radio before i had to go to work. They did the contest, but sadly i was caller number 4 so i didn't win.

Well after work today, I ran into Woods Cross High to get tickets for their upcoming play Beauty and the Beast. While I was getting the tickets, my bestest friend/sister-in-law Beccie called me. I wasn't able to talk so I told her i'd call her back. I called her back a few minutes later and she asked me if I had listened to the radio. I said I did, and knew that they did another contest, but i wasn't able to call. She asked me if i knew who won. I didn't have any idea. Then a thought came to me. And i screamed "BECCIE DID YOU WIN THE TICKETS?!?!?!" She just started laughing. She said that she did win the tickets. At first i didn't believe her. But she told me she was serious. So then i just started screaming! I am so excited!!!! And Im so thankful for beccie for helping me win these tickets. She knew how important it was for me to go, so she spent her time waiting and calling for the tickets. Im so happy she did that for me. Thanks beccie! I'm also so glad to be going to this concert with her. She is so fun to hang out with.

So for all of you nonbelievers out there, dreams really do come true!!! (Cheesy, i know, but for me, its really that important.)

Katy Perry Tickets

The past few weeks I've been hearing about a Katy Perry concert coming up soon. (she sings I Kissed a Girl, and Hot 'n cold) I finally decided to check it out. The concert was only $18, so of course I looked up tickets right away! I asked my best friend/sister-in-law if she would go with me. And she said yes. I got back on the computer to get tickets. I was so excited I was about to pee my pants. I love Katy perry! And so does everyone else apparantly... To my disappointment, the tickets were all sold out. From then on, to this day, I am trying everything I possibly can do to get a hold of Katy Perry tickets. I looked on a different website and people are selling tickets for $64! I have registered on three differnent radio stations websites for a chance to win. I sat at my computer for an hour filling out a survey on my radio stations website for a chance to win tickets. And I call my radio station at least 3 times a day asking if they are giving tickets away and i always get the same answer, "eventually", whatever that means. Well, today as i was listening to my FAVORITE radio station, 107.9 THE MIX(hows that for a little advertising?) a Katy Perry song came on. After the song, the DJ announced that they would be giving away tickets for the Katy Perry concert! He said he would give details in a minute. Well a minute came and went and he still didn't talk about the tickets. So I decided to take matters into my own hands and i called him up. Here's how the conversation went..
DJ: hi this is 107.9 the mix
ME: Are you going to be giving away Katy perry tickets tonight?!
DJ: No sorry.
......Yep thats all he said. I was mad! (i swear trying to get these tickets have turned me into an angry person)
So I decided to investigate further. I went on to 107.9's website and looked up Katy Perry. This is what i got.
"This weekend - it is a Katy Perry "Thinking of You" weekend. Listen for the cue to call, be the 10th caller and spin the wheel of prizes for either Katy Perry's new CD or tickets to the upcoming Katy Perry show at In The Venue on February 10th."
This is either a good thing or a bad thing. So they will be giving away tickets, but I also have a chance of winning her cd instead. GRR!! What a frustrating few weeks!
Ok.. now that i have that off my chest, maybe i can move on.
I AM going to win these tickets.
WISH ME LUCK!!!
